Sentinel Insights was born out of frustration shared by a group of analytics practitioners. We were committed to delivering clean, high-quality data that honored every user’s consent – but no tool on the market could truly do that in real time, using actual user data. So, we built our own. Sentinel tracks every cookie and associated tag on a website, monitoring how they behave when consent is granted – or more importantly, when it’s not.

As regulatory scrutiny and privacy lawsuits surged, our mission sharpened: to protect enterprises from compliance blind spots that can cost millions. He headed a technical implementation and strategy division as the Director of Innovation at Ebiquity, setting best practices and identifying new ways to capture and leverage data.

Tom O’Neill brings over two decades of experience in engineering leadership and digital transformation to Sentinel Insights. As the former CEO of The Nerdery, he guided the company through its evolution from a digital production shop to a strategic partner delivering enterprise-scale software solutions. Tom also co-founded Parallax, a platform focused on capacity planning and resource management for professional services firms. At Sentinel, he leads engineering with a focus on building resilient, scalable systems that support real-time MarTech monitoring. Tom is passionate about assembling high-performing teams and creating tools that empower others to do the same.

Erin Ankeny brings deep expertise in cross-functional collaboration at the intersection of marketing and technology to the Sentinel team. She has led complex initiatives for Fortune 500 clients, supporting web and mobile applications, deploying marketing technologies, and building scalable platforms from the ground up. Before joining Sentinel, Erin served as Executive Vice President at Gloto Corp. She also managed the rollout of a tag and consent management platform across more than 100 digital properties for TD Ameritrade.
